Similar to a sports game, SynthID evaluates large numbers of next-word token candidates. It uses a secret key to assign them probability scores. A pair of tokens competes in a round. The one with the higher hidden score wins and advances to the next round. The process continues until a final winning token is determined. In fact, we rank as the sixth largest semiconductor exporter in the world, handling roughly 13% of global ATP (assembly, testing, and packaging) capacity. Yet, there’s a crucial gap that has to be addressed for us to continue being a prominent semiconductor player. SINGAPORE – A phone call from the chef of a major hotel in March 2025 marked a stressful turning point for Alan Tan. The chief executive officer of heritage food and beverage brand HarriAnns Nonya Table was told a major 2,000-kueh order had been missed. The firm, which supplies freshly made traditional cakes and dishes to hotels, was supposed to have prepared the food the day before. In Singapore, kueh is a Hokkien dialect term for steamed cakes. The mistake happened as several pages of the hotel’s purchase order had not been printed. Therefore, they were left out of the daily tally that administrative staff manually compiled for the central kitchen. “I told my kitchen staff: ‘I don’t care, you have to make the order right now’,” said Tan. a special project team built an AI tool to analyse historical reservation data, dining durations and guest habits to safely predict periods when Fico could accept more bookings than its capacity allows. Farmers around the world face a pressing problem: the equipment they use to till, plant, and harvest their fields is killing their margins. Studies have estimated that soil compaction can reduce yields by [20% to 60%](https://extension.umn.edu/natural-resources/conservation/agricultural-soil-and-water/soil-compaction#crop-yield-1147264). The startup says it can promote better soil health while cutting farmers’ tilling costs by half or more.
